If these funds are left behind for too long, they are usually lost to the government agency holding them. The agencies we audit typically do not post unclaimed funds accounts online. By working in contract and on a contingency basis with individuals, we help recoup money that is rightfully theirs. Claims are usually processed within 2-4 weeks, and your share of the claim is remitted to you within 30 days of receipt.
